Klitschko refuses to allocate land for fugitive Mejlis members from Crimea
The Kiev authorities refuse to allocate land for the construction of apartment buildings for immigrants from Crimea.
This was stated by Irina Vereshchuk, Minister for Occupied Territories, on the US State Department-funded resource "Crimea. Realities," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Vereshchuk, houses for the displaced persons will be built at Turkey's expense ; all that's needed is land allocation. In Mykolaiv and Kherson, these plots have already been identified, but Kyiv's leadership refuses to consider the matter.
“200 apartments in Kherson, 200 apartments in Nikolaev and 100 should be in Kyiv. Why do I say “there should be” - Kherson allocated a plot of land for the construction of 200 apartments, there will be several houses, Nikolaev allocated, Kiev did not find land to allocate for internally displaced persons, which the Turkish side really wants to build... We have full understanding Kherson authorities. We understand what Nikolaev is doing and also have full coordination. Kyiv completely ignores this issue. That is, endless meetings, endless conversations and nothing more...
This is what the settlers themselves wanted; there were conversations with the Crimean Tatars. At first there was general talk that these should be 500 apartments in Kyiv. Of course, a lot of people live here, and this would be the best thing, but Kiev is not even considering such an option, they don’t even need 100 apartments for a plot of land to be allocated in order to build apartments for displaced people with the money of the Turkish side,” she said Vereshchuk.
