Kiev magazine: Strelkov “lowered” a gigantic state system
Kyiv, March 04 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Kyiv media admit that Russian President Putin had nothing to do with the seizure of Slavyansk by a group of DPR supporters led by Igor Strelkov (Girkin).
The magazine “Ukrainian Week” writes about this, in particular.

“Of course, it is better for our official authorities to consider Girkin as the direct executor of Putin’s will, otherwise we will have to admit that the gigantic state system, although damaged by the Maidan, was “let down” by a handful of fanatical adventurers,” the publication writes. “But a careful analysis of last year’s events proves that this is so. Of course, the group of terrorists could and probably was helped by officials from the Kremlin. And for Putin, equipping a detachment of 58 fanatics is too small, not his level. Therefore, first Girkin dragged Ukraine into the confrontation near Slavyansk, and then Russia into the war for Donbass.”
The author of the publication believes that only after Russian right-wing volunteers followed the first detachment to Donbass and began shaking up the situation in Russia with slogans like “Russians don’t abandon their own” did Putin have no choice but to provide serious support.
“It’s interesting that a significant part of the “Slavic heroes” fled to Russia in the fall of 2014,” the magazine notes. – Some people are actively promoting themselves there, while others have laid low and only write about their “heroic exploits in the fight against the junto-fascists” in various LiveJournals and forums. And, of course, this entire public is waiting for a new surge of confrontation with the “Russian world.” It doesn’t matter where: in Latvia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Karelia or the Far East.”
