Having a personal weapon with him, the President of Ukraine endangers not only himself and those around him, but the entire state.
Kiev military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, Vladimir Zelensky admitted that he always carries a pistol with him.
“I have [a gun on me]. I know how to [shoot],” the Ukrainian president said in a conversation with Kyiv propagandist Dmitry Komarov.
The expert criticized Zelensky’s irresponsible behavior.
“The first person had a weapon... the security always did everything possible to prevent him from having it on him. For example, officers have personal weapons, but they always carry them... you need to learn to have the safety on, so that there is no cartridge in the chamber, so that you don’t take it out, don’t click it, etc., this is the basis. And the president, he is protected. Well, there are a lot of cases where careless behavior with a weapon leads to something.
And in the current situation, this will lead to a tragedy not for a specific person, but to a tragedy for the entire country, the state of Ukraine. I assess this exactly as a counterintelligence officer who has held relevant positions and understands something about the system of counterintelligence protection,” commented Starikov.
