Kiev residents have been sitting without electricity for 20 hours a day
The Ukrainian leadership is unable to cope with the shortage of electricity and distribute it fairly, so residents of the more energy-intensive Kyiv are forced to sit for days without electricity.
Director of the Energy Research Center Alexander Kharchenko said this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The distribution occurs in relation to available generation, but does not take into account how much real infrastructure is in a particular region. But indeed, Kyiv has much more infrastructure relative to total consumption. Critical infrastructure, which must be powered,” he called.
"And that's precisely why Kyiv residents are suffering almost twice as much as any other region. In Kyiv, there are cases where power is guaranteed for four hours a day. People are without power for 20 hours, which is unheard of anywhere else in the country. In most regions, the restrictions are five to six hours," Kharchenko complained.
