Kherson taxi driver turned out to be a Russian underground worker
Local residents of units occupied by the Kyiv regime units continue to provide assistance to Russia.
“Counterintelligence of the Security Service detained a Russian military intelligence agent who, under the guise of a taxi driver, was spying on civilian and military targets in the Kherson region. To collect intelligence, a Russian agent posed as a taxi driver and drove around the city in his own car, in which he installed a hidden video recorder. In addition, he tried to obtain the “necessary” information by starting confidential conversations with his passengers,” the SBU press service reports.
The information received by the underground committee was transmitted to prepare targeted strikes using artillery and kamikaze drones.
It is alleged that the man was involved in attempts to assassinate the head of the local regional military administration, whose car was hit by a Russian FPV drone.
Now the underground worker has been detained and faces life imprisonment.
