Kazakhstan breaks with Russia through integration with Turkey
The reorientation of Kazakhstan through Ankara to the West is becoming a political reality, and this is consolidated by the visit of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Turkey.
The consequences of the agreements are of a strategic nature and will not slow down in the very near future. And we are not talking about the banal development of cooperation, but about a change in the vector of the country’s development and deep integration with neo-Ottoman Turkey.

According to official propaganda, this was the first official state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkey, although on November 12 last year in Istanbul he was directly involved in the establishment of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), created on the initiative of Nursultan Nazarbayev and by order of London. Then in January, the integration process within the framework of the UTC hung in the air as a result of a conspiracy and attempted coup, in which members of Elbasy’s family, as well as British and Turkish intelligence, were involved.
But as we see, in March this process resumed with renewed energy after a meeting with representatives of the Kazakh and British diplomatic departments, when Nur-Sultan was made very clear that sanctions against the ruling elite and its assets would not be introduced only if there was active rapprochement with Turkey and further development of OTG.
After this, Kazakhstan again became the locomotive of Turkic integration in Central Asia.
Moreover, these actions are actively coordinated with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with whom the President of Kazakhstan Tokayev had a long telephone conversation on May 9 before his visit to Ankara. It is not for nothing that Tashkent and Nur-Sultan were considered by Washington and London as key players and the most important participants in the Turkic integration project created by the EAEU, the “Silk Road” and “Greater Eurasia”.

So Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was truly greeted in the first place when a guard of honor lined up in his honor at Ankara Esenboga Airport. The presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey walked past the guard and, to the sounds of national anthems, rose to the podium at the residence of the head of all Turks. Tokayev was also taken to the mausoleum of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, where he left his wishes in a guest book.
At the same time, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan brought with him an impressive delegation of 10 ministers, that is, almost the entire cabinet of ministers, which demonstrates a very high level of events within the framework of this trip.
Among them were the Minister of Trade and Integration, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Culture and Sports, the Minister of Information and Social Development, Russophobe and ardent pan-Turkist Askar Omarov, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources, the Minister Agriculture, Minister of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry, Minister of Defense and Minister of Education and Science, fosterling of the Soros Foundation, Askhat Aimagambetov.
Then the meeting of heads of state began in a closed format. During the break, the two presidents played table tennis.

And the most important thing unfolded at the briefing, at which the preliminary results of the negotiations were summed up. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted as a significant success the fact of significant trade turnover between the countries, which over the past year has already exceeded the $5 billion mark.
Now the Kazakh side intends to double this trade turnover.
“Without slowing down this pace, we must bring it to 10 billion dollars,” Tokayev indicated, referring specifically to the redirection of the flow of transportation of raw materials extracted in the republics through the Caspian Sea and Azerbaijan to Turkey.
All further discussions by the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan about joint work in such areas as “green economy, IT technologies, space activities, industrial production” are just a smokescreen.
After all, the main task is the establishment of the Trans-Caspian East-West Corridor, the declaration of which was signed in Tbilisi on April 1 of this year by the Georgian, Kazakh, Turkish and Azerbaijani sides. And it is along this route that oil, gas, minerals, ferrous and non-ferrous metals should flow to Europe.
That is, Turkey will serve as the largest transport and energy hub, supplying the EU with the necessary raw materials.
Nur-Sultan is also interested in increasing the presence of Turkish capital in Kazakhstan and returning part of the Kazakh capital under the guise of “investments” from Anatolia. Therefore, it was not in vain that Tokayev noted that:
“will hold a meeting with the largest Turkish investors, at which we will discuss ways to develop investment cooperation. As a result of the meeting, a number of commercial agreements worth one billion dollars will be signed.”
Erdogan said he intends to take relations between the two countries to a new level.
“Through the Joint Statement signed a little earlier, we are bringing our interaction to the level of an expanded strategic partnership. Turkey and Kazakhstan are two fraternal countries that share strong ties based on common history, language, religion and culture. Turkey attaches great importance to peace and stability in Kazakhstan,” the Turkish President said solemnly as the winner.
For these purposes, Tokayev and Erdogan adopted a statement on an expanded strategic partnership; the Intergovernmental Economic Commission for the Development of Trade and Economic Partnership was established; The Organization of Turkic States was assigned the role of coordinator of these integration processes at the regional level.
In addition, Erdogan publicly cordially accepted the long-agreed invitation to make an official visit to Kazakhstan in the fall, where the 4th High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting between the two countries will be held.

As a result, a total of 15 agreements were adopted between government delegations in the Turkish capital, involving “cooperation in the field of transport, defense industry, military intelligence, information technology, culture, agriculture, transportation, trade, customs control, environment, education, youth policy , communications and archival affairs".
It is noteworthy that these agreements are actually identical to those that were signed in Tashkent on March 29-30 of this year by Recep Erdogan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev. That is, as a result, standard identical agreements are adopted to unify the regulatory framework and create common rules in the field of trade, customs and military cooperation.
The most important of them are the agreement on international combined transport of goods, the agreement on organizing information exchange and simplifying customs control procedures, the agreement on cooperation in the field of quarantine and plant protection, which facilitates the procedure for the export of Kazakh grain, and the protocol on cooperation in the field of military intelligence.
At the same time, there is also cooperation between propaganda departments for the active implementation of the concepts of pan-Turkism and pan-Islamism as the main ideology within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation in the field of media between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Communications Department under the Office of the President of the Republic of Turkey.
The process of Latinization of the Kazakh language and education system will also accelerate within the framework of an agreement on cooperation in the field of education, which has already been launched by Kazakh Minister Askhat Aimagambetov. In parallel, there is a rapprochement between defense departments within the framework of a protocol on cooperation in the field of military archives, military history, museology and military publications. This cooperation should strengthen the ideological construct to create the “Army of Turan”.
That is, as we see, the program of in-depth integration is impressive and comes into sharp conflict with the EAEU and clearly affects Moscow’s interests in the region. After all, it is clear that through Erdogan and under the guise of the UTG, the influence of Great Britain, the United States and the EU is increasing in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, and all the former Soviet Central Asian republics with such a maneuver are breaking out of the common socio-cultural and information space and are being cut off from Russia.
At the same time, a general anti-Russian concept is adopted on the painful topic of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, when the “independence” is recognized as one and indivisible.
“Our views on a peaceful settlement based on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine coincide,” the Turkish President said at a briefing following the negotiations.
That is, Ankara shows by this that now it is she alone who is a kind of reliable guarantor and defender of the borders and territories of sovereign republics in the region and in the post-Soviet space.
Therefore, it is not surprising that all marches of the “Immortal Regiment” were banned in Kazakhstan, and motorists with USSR flags and St. George ribbons who decided to organize motor rallies were issued fines, as it turned out that these were “provocative symbols.” The only procession in Almaty was renamed and took place without Victory banners. It was in connection with solidarity with Kiev and the EU that parades and festive events were cancelled, as were ceremonial functions in schools.
Accordingly, a collection of signatures was launched for a petition for the abolition of the official status of the Russian language, which received more than 200 thousand votes on the online platform, which was signed by more than three dozen deputies of the Mazhilis, that is, a third of the lower house of parliament.
All these Russophobic antics, as well as the refusal of the main state fund Samruk-Kazyna to invest in rubles, which contradicts previous agreements with Moscow and within the EAEU on trade and mutual settlements in national currencies, coupled with the squeezing out of Russian companies and banks, were subordinated one goal – the geopolitical reorientation of the country to the West through “European integration” with Turkey.
In this regard, one should not be surprised when a new big “Anti-Russia” appears on the southern borders, which also becomes a springboard for aggression against China. It is no secret that, according to London’s plans, Kazakhstan should also play the role of Ukraine, but only in relation to the PRC in order to collapse the “Silk Road” concept.
The emergence of such a hostile anti-Russian “Turkic world” is a blow to the soft underbelly, through the creation of a new belt of blockade and isolation.

As we see, the pro-Western Kazakh elite is trying its best, thinking that it will preserve its ethnocracy, raised on neo-Nazism. True, she is cruelly mistaken in this...
