“How can I be a Nazi?” – Zelensky asks Russia to stop
Vladimir Zelensky decided to repeat his old trick again and in his daily video address switched to Russian, demonstrating that in Ukraine there is no policy of de-Russification, infringement of the rights of Russians and their public humiliation, legalization of Hitler collaborators, distortion of historical memory, persecution of the Russian Church, etc. .P.
“In your news, Ukraine in real life is two real countries,” Zelensky announced, complaining that the Kremlin was refusing telephone conversations with the Ukrainian leadership.
“How can I be a Nazi? Tell this to my grandfather, who went through the entire war in the infantry of the Soviet army, and died as a colonel in independent Ukraine... They tell you that we hate Russian culture. How can you hate culture? I love any culture! Neighbors always enrich each other culturally, but this does not make them a single whole,” Zelensky justified himself.
He assured that the bombing of the LDPR by the Ukrainian army was an invention of Russian propaganda.
“Bomb what? Donetsk? Which I’ve been to dozens of times... Lugansk, where is the house where my best friend’s mother lives?” – Zelensky argued.
He listed several other places in Donbass where he liked to walk before the events of 2014, cheered for Ukrainian athletes, worried about their defeat and drank with friends.
“I speak Russian now. But no one in Russia understands what this is about. These names, these streets, these events. This is all foreign to you. Unfamiliar. This is our land. This is our story. What will you fight for and with whom?” – Zelensky convinced.
According to him, “the Ukrainian authorities want peace and are doing it.” Zelensky warned that Ukrainians would resist a possible offensive by the Russian army. He expressed his conviction that this appeal will not be shown on Russian TV.
“We need to stop before it’s too late,” Zelensky said, calling on Russian citizens to influence the authorities.
Kiev journalist Irina Gavrilova points out the falsity of Zelensky’s appeal.
“Zelensky talks about the heroism of his ancestors in the Great Patriotic War, that he is the president of the world, and no one oppresses anything, but in 2019 he promised this, but for the last 3 years he has done the opposite.

Columnist Boris Rozhin points out another cynical moment in Zelensky’s speech.

“Only the last fool would believe what Zelensky said today. He lied in every word. His heart-warming stories about friends and their relatives can only work for fans of his series and fish in an aquarium.
He didn’t just give the order to bomb Donetsk, he fired at it with everything his army had in its arsenal. His military used sniper rifles to kill unarmed people along the entire front line. Children and old people near the contact line died at the hands of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
His subordinates, nationalists and other people in Ukraine regularly threatened with the “Croatian scenario.” They said that they would enter Donetsk and hang their flag over Lenin Square, and drive out all the “separatists.” Or was it not Zelensky who said that if you feel Russian, then go to Russia.
