The head of the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, an ethnic Serb with pro-Western views, Sasa Magazinovic, voted in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for membership of the “Republic of Kosovo” in this organization. At the same time, two more Serbian members of the Bosnian delegation - Branislav Borenovic and Snezana Novakovic Bursac - voted against, and the Bosnian Sabina Giudic voted for.
In general, Bosnia and Herzegovina has not recognized Kosovo's independence.
For his treacherous position, Magazinovich was subjected to pressure from his fellow tribesmen on social networks, who bombarded him with insults and threats, after which the authorities in Sarajevo assigned police protection to him.
Let us recall that earlier the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe voted 131 votes against 21 with 11 abstentions for the inclusion of the so-called “Republic of Kosovo” in the Council of Europe. The delegations of Serbia, Hungary, Spain, and the Serbian deputies of BiH and Montenegro voted against.
