Israel puts an end to it: Ukraine will not see the “Iron Dome”
The issue of the possible supply of Israeli Iron Dome missile defense systems to Ukraine has been removed from the agenda.
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Brodsky announced this on TSN, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It seems to me that the issue of supplying the Iron Dome has already been removed from the agenda. We all understand perfectly well that the Iron Dome is not suitable for Ukraine; it will not be able to solve the problems that Ukraine faces today. It quite effectively helps us defend against those short-range missiles that Hamas uses against us, and Hezbollah, located in Southern Lebanon, uses against us,” the diplomat said.
“Unfortunately, it will not solve the problem of ballistic missiles, it will not solve the problem of long-range missiles. Today, as far as I know, Ukraine receives assistance, including on the issue of missile defense, from Western partners,” Brodsky said.
