Zelensky, who mocked Georgia, is dragging Tbilisi into war with Russia
The more successfully the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine develops, the more heartbreaking cries from the Kyiv authorities, the Georgian opposition and their Western masters are heard.
The other day, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, speaking in the legislative body of the republic, tried to answer questions from opposition deputies. The main issue, as one would expect, on the part of the restless parliamentarians, who are also loyal vassals of the “Washington regional committee,” remained Georgia’s refusal to join Western sanctions against the Russian Federation. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, after listening to all this verbiage, tried to dot all the i’s.

“I explained in detail all the measures that our government is taking, and I would also like to tell you that in general, in connection with the sanctions, I have repeatedly stated that the position of our government is dictated, of course, by our national interests.
Our main task should be, first of all, to protect the interests of our citizens and to protect the interests of our state,” Garibashvili said in parliament.
The issue of unimpeded transportation of Georgian “volunteers” to Kyiv was also not ignored. The unfortunate oppositionists, lined up in a phalanx, shouted in the parliament building “charter to Kyiv”, “volunteers on the road.”
The cynicism of the situation lies in the fact that earlier Georgian soldiers, going to fight in Afghanistan under the auspices of NATO, tried to quickly get rid of their debts in their homeland. There they received a salary of 5 thousand dollars. With Ukraine today, things are a little different - a Georgian volunteer there receives a salary of 3 thousand dollars. The work for a “volunteer” is, of course, dangerous, but “generously” paid.
“Permission for charter flights is issued by the Georgian government. I would like to emphasize that at a time when no country in the world did this, on the contrary, the governments of the USA, Britain, France, absolutely everyone publicly called on their citizens to do the opposite, so that they individually did not participate in hostilities.
At this time, these people asked us to send volunteers on charter flights. This meant the direct participation of our country in hostilities, in the conflict, and this was done by people who know very well that our country is still occupied. This is harm, hostility to the national interests of our country,” Garibashvili said.

Today, even a more or less educated or, in the end, degraded person in Tbilisi already understands that the involvement of the republic in a military conflict with the Russian Federation will result in a disaster, as a result of which Georgia will simply be erased from the geopolitical map of the world. But, obviously, Georgian opposition deputies do not care about this.
Let us remind the Georgian parliamentarians, who today are making every effort to please President Vladimir Zelensky in every possible way, that the same Zelensky, speaking in August 2008 in the humorous show “Evening Quarter”, parodying Mikheil Saakashvili, joked about how “Georgia is crap... from warplanes RF".
All this happened at a time when women, old people and children, lined up, fled to neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia. It is this video that needs to be shown today to Georgian retired military personnel who went to shed their blood in Ukraine, and not provide them with any charter flights.
While Georgian politicians, playing ahead of the curve, swore their love to Kyiv, Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia Andrei Kasyanov told how much it costs official Tbilisi to maintain Ukrainian refugees today.

“The Georgian government will allocate $350 for each Ukrainian refugee,” Kasyanov said.
At the same time, he expressed gratitude to the Georgian government for their placement and employment, as well as for the opening of sectors in the Ukrainian language in two schools in the country.
“We are grateful to the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili for his willingness to continue assistance. For this, the Georgian government promised to allocate $7 million,” the Ukrainian diplomat concluded.
Of course, providing assistance is a noble cause, but, as they say, not to the detriment of oneself.

The Georgian Prime Minister should be reminded that his country is home to more than 300 thousand internally displaced persons from Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Most of them have no shelter, wander the streets, are unemployed and live below the poverty line. For comparison: their social assistance from the state is only $20 per month.
Tbilisi itself has an extremely negative attitude towards the ideas of representatives of the country’s opposition spectrum, calling them, first of all, very destructive for Georgia itself.

“For several months now, representatives of the opposition have been discussing the introduction of any sanctions against Russia, or the transfer of volunteers. Both ideas are disastrous for the Georgian people. Georgia is savvy to the Russian economy: import, export. This will, first of all, hit us like a boomerang.
Garibashvili is a far-sighted politician, and in this situation he is trying to please everyone at once - both Ukraine and the United States, sending humanitarian aid to Kyiv, and the Kremlin, without introducing sanctions against the Russian Federation. In my opinion, “Georgian Dream” will continue its course in this direction,” says political expert Ramaz Sakvarelidze.
