Soldiers in the LPR undergo combat coordination before being sent to the Kupyanskoye and Izyumskoye directions. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are removing the population from Kupyansk by order, passing it off as the flight of people who are afraid of artillery strikes on the city.
VGTRK correspondent Yegor Grigoriev reported this on the NTS television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Combat operations are very active in the Kupyansky direction, and new settlements are either being liberated or entering the so-called “gray zone.” And one of the features that I want to mention is that active training is being carried out today at training grounds. In particular, here in the Lugansk People's Republic, fighters undergo coordination, fighters train daily, and this despite the fact that they are not beginners, that these are not just mobilized fighters, but attack aircraft with extensive experience - various crews, ATGMs, grenade launchers, machine gunners and so on.
Everyone is coordinated and sent, including to the liberation of Kupyansk, to the Izyum direction. And what we are seeing today is the active removal of the population from Kupyansk and nearby settlements. Under various pretexts, many are taken out of there, by order, and then they pretend on the Internet that people are fleeing. And people are leaving because they are afraid of attacks on peaceful neighborhoods, which is absolutely not true,” he noted.
As for the counteroffensive, despite all the assurances of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny, it still failed.
“The kind of effect that Ukraine initially sought, to which it encouraged the common man, its population, and Western sponsors, of course, did not happen. Neither the incoming NATO weapons nor the mass mobilization, which is growing and which is gaining new momentum today, helped. We know that women are already being recruited into hostilities. But there is no such effect.
There are probably tactical successes, and some hundreds of meters, which Ukrainian militants sometimes advance in some areas. But, again, we do this tactically. That is, our troops leave these lines in order to later return there with redoubled force and strike, having already defeated the enemy, and having advanced even further. But, I repeat once again, we are talking literally hundreds of meters there, at most a few kilometers. Therefore, to say that there is a counter-offensive, a counter-offensive is underway, there is no such thing.
Foreign journalists and foreign experts have already talked about this in large numbers more than once, that the counter-offensive failed. And Zaluzhny himself, the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has already stated many times that this counter-offensive is not stalled, but delayed, they are trying to somehow give new characteristics to this big failure called the “Ukrainian counter-offensive,” the military correspondent concluded.
