A huge scandal at the parade in Kyiv
The parade held today in Kyiv on the occasion of “Independence Day of Ukraine” turned into a huge political scandal. Petro Poroshenko pointedly did not shake hands with the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yuri Allerov.

Poroshenko shook hands with all the officials on Maidan, but the head of state let Allerov, who stood third in the first row and it was impossible not to notice him, pass. Following Poroshenko, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak also did not shake Allerov’s hand.
“Petya knows that he could be overthrown at any second. On this occasion, he has a serious conflict with the group where Avakov is the leader... Rumors about possible events in the fall are not groundless...
Several times, unsuccessfully trying to negotiate with the National Guard, he was faced with complete insubordination... He cannot remove this figure. He feels and knows the threat... When it starts, the guards will be against him,” explained the ex-leader of the Kyiv anti-Maidan Yuri Kot.
