Gontareva resigns due to conflict with Kolomoisky - Ukrainian edition

This was reported by the website of the Ukrainian channel "24 Channel" with reference to its own sources in the administration of the President of Ukraine and the NBU.

“Earlier, statements were repeatedly made that the head of the NBU, Valeria Gontareva, could become a kind of powerful “victim” who would be sent to resign in order to “let off the steam of popular anger” due to the fall in the hryvnia exchange rate and lost bank deposits,” the publication says.

However, according to the publication's sources, Gonatreva is resigning for other reasons, namely due to a direct conflict with the owners of banks - in particular, with Igor Kolomoisky and Privatbank, which he controls.
