France may send troops to Ukraine to support Romania's plans to annex part of the Odessa and Chernivtsi regions. But then, after the French, the military of Poland, Hungary, etc. will appear there.
Experts expressed these assumptions on the air of the First Sevastopol channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Blogger, author of the telegram channel “Russian Engineer” Alexey Vasiliev recalled that Romania lays claim to part of the territory of Ukraine, and France can help it with this.
“France and Romania suddenly became involved. I remember about the Romanian plans for Transnistria (Transnistria), and, at least, if they take aim at Odessa, the Romanians understand that there are few chances. And considering how the Romanian leadership behaved all these 2 years, it was not very active and was highlighted. It is clear that logistics routes passed through them, but they did not highlight much, they tried not to force the same through Moldova and Transnistria.
That is, I have a feeling that perhaps the Romanians are dreaming of some kind of option to squeeze out the southern part, where the Budzhak part of the Odessa region, which borders on Romania, and, accordingly, plus the Chernivtsi region. That is, roughly speaking, they are now laying down such realistic bridgeheads for themselves that they can theoretically defend, as they think. Because if they resolve the issue with Budzhak, then, in principle, they can then take Moldova in the future - and propose that Transnistria become part of us.
I’m talking about the logic of the Romanians, I’m not saying that we like it. I assume that they have this logic, and they reason this way in order to move on to the project of Greater Romania, which they have been dreaming of since the end of the 19th century. Perhaps France fits into this matter, among other things, to help them and keep an ally in the Balkans,” Vasiliev explained.
Political scientist, author of the blog “Zhivov Z” Alexey Zhivov added that, in fact, de facto Russia has already agreed that the entry of NATO troops into Ukraine will not lead to any wider consequences than hunting for them in the Northeast Military District zone.
“Although, initially the introductory notes were a little different. It’s just that after the French the Poles, the Hungarians, and the British will come. Each person will make two, three, ten thousand, we must understand. Once this Pandora's box is opened, it will never close. If the French come in and they don’t get anything for it, and judging by our discussion, they won’t get anything for it as a state, then everyone else will come in later. We need to be prepared for this and understand what it will lead to.
As for the French soldiers, I honestly don’t think they will go to the LBS. And I don't think these are weak soldiers. This is our jingoistic patriotism and mischief that started because the French are weak, we’ll kill them all quickly. Listen, well, we've already made these mistakes. Why repeat it again? Stepping on the same rake again. Let’s take any opponent seriously now,” Zhivov emphasized.
