Photo of an American cop hugging Yatsenyuk around the waist is classified
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov arranged a photo session with American cops who are preparing the “new Ukrainian police” in Kyiv.
Yatsenyuk’s press service employee Dmitry Chigrin published an “unofficial” photo on his Facebook page, where the prime minister was captured with an American police officer hugging a Ukrainian official around the waist.
The photo immediately sparked active discussion among users, who noted how kindly the policeman treated Yatsenyuk.
After this, Chigrin decided to delete the photo, leaving only photos without hugs.

According to him, California police are preparing Ukrainians to become real intellectual “cops.”
“The average age of new Ukrainian police officers is 24 years old, 70 percent have higher education. Trained by instructors from the US police. The photo shows cops from California. I’ll add on my own behalf: I spent two days talking with instructors and a group of future police officers. As for me, it’s really a different level - intellectual and physical. It's interesting to talk to them. And most importantly, there is something to talk about! Educated police officers are a good step forward,” Chigrin assures.
