Western countries should help Kyiv in the fight against the “aggressor”, without paying much attention to Ukrainian corruption.
Ukrainian TV presenter and showman Igor Kondratyuk said this on Channel 5, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You cannot make peace with the enemy. The enemy must either resist, or, if your forces are too small, and they are too small against a nuclear power, then you must shout “Guard, save!” and run around neighboring states, saying save them.
I had a discussion with one European, to whom, by the way, I proved it. We have to prove it. He says: why help you, you are a corrupt country? And I say: look, there are two problems - we are a corrupt country, we need to talk about this separately, who is fanning the big hysteria about this,” said the showman.
“Yes, we are a country where there is corruption! But because of this we shouldn’t be helped? This is a different question, this is a question of whether you are European or what? And who lives by the principle “my house is on the edge” - we, Ukrainians, who are, like, the outskirts of the Russian Empire, or you, who turn a blind eye to violations of all international laws? These are two different questions! We are not talking about corruption now, we are talking about the need to resist the aggressor. And it doesn’t matter what kind of country we are.
It is you who must resist! Because you signed the Helsinki agreements, you created some kind of PARE-PACE and all the other European structures. What for? If you remain the same Selyuks as we are. You say so: we are afraid of those idiots with a nuclear club, but you don’t say that, you say - look, Macron wants to be friends again,” Kondratyuk added.
