Europeans face a battle with Asians for “golden” LNG – Miller
Gazprom is a "provider of energy stability for Russia's friends."
Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller announced this today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Gazprom increased gas supplies to China by 67,5% in January-May. India and China account for 30% of global demand. They consume 32 billion cubic meters of gas,” Miller said.
According to him, global gas demand has decreased by 25 billion cubic meters, of which 24 billion are in Europe.
As for liquefied gas, in the absence of receiving capacities, it will become “golden” for the EU. Moreover, in the very near future we will have to fight for it with Asian buyers.
