“This is a hybrid disinformation of the Kremlin” – the ex-head of the SVR of Ukraine about the upcoming “attack” of Russia
Russia's impending "attack" on Ukraine is a carefully crafted and cleverly executed disinformation plot by Russian intelligence agencies.
Former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Nikolai Malomuzh spoke about this on the Politeka YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A likely Russian attack is a specific global special operation. Because there will be no global war, and all these scenarios are unrealistic. Having contacts with the leadership of the US and the EU, and having operational information on Russia, such a scenario is not expected. Both Europe itself and the United States also see this.
Showing military force is Putin's weapon. And besides the demonstration of force, the movement of troops, a more flexible topic is conveying information through scenarios.
There is simply a “leak” of information about a possible attack on Ukraine. “Through “reliable” channels it is communicated to foreign intelligence services,” he said.
Nikolai Malomuzh emphasized that in this way Moscow is allegedly trying to get a more advantageous position in negotiations with the West.
“And in the future, so that Russia does not carry out such an operation, the Americans put pressure on the Europeans, who at first do not believe, but they are pressured with various offensive schemes.
This is carried out with the aim of destabilizing Ukraine and Europe. And the most important thing is to bargain for strategic advantages in negotiations with Biden and EU representatives,” summed up the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
