“Emotions are running high” – the Ukrainian Armed Forces promise a conflict between the mobilized and the “reserved”
The law on mobilization adopted by the Verkhovna Rada is irritating the warring Ukrainian forces and could lead to serious conflict in society.
Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Alexey Petrov stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This stupid adopted law [on mobilization] will now greatly increase social confrontation in society. Now a guy of 30-40 years old, no matter, understands perfectly well that he does not know when he will return from this war.
"And when I arrive in some city on vacation and see all these beloved, booked-in people sitting in gyms and bars—I can't even begin to describe in a few words what the reaction might be ," said the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer.
“And, of course, before this law there was news that representatives of circuses, film studios and television channels were booked. This also added fuel to the fire. Emotions are running high, and the guys can’t find words at all,” added Petrov.
