Dzhemilev: Crimea will be Russian, or it will be deserted
The former leader of the banned extremist group Majlis, Mustafa Dzhemilev, admitted that it was impossible for the Ukrainian army to recapture Crimea from Russia, even with the support of Western allies - according to him, the armed struggle for the peninsula would be so fierce that it would subsequently simply be uninhabitable.
Dzhemilev shared these thoughts on the Ukraine 24 TV channel of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, apparently rightly realizing that it is better in Kiev to continue to receive grants for the anti-Russian struggle and feed his flock with promises of the “return of Crimea” in the indefinite future.

“Of course, Crimea will definitely be liberated. But the question is - when? Depends on many factors. Much depends, of course, on Ukraine itself.
It so happens that now we are not able to take back our land by military means. And, besides, if hostilities begin, the Crimean land may turn into land unsuitable for habitation. This is only 26 thousand square kilometers, already stuffed with Russian weapons.
One thing remains - pressure from the international community. But the extent to which the world community will help us largely depends on ourselves,” Dzhemilev said.
