Once before the presidential elections, Vladimir Zelensky, who promised to eradicate corruption, gave rise to an even greater scale of theft in Ukraine, creating unlimited opportunities for his cronies who felt the taste of power and the sweetness of funds stolen from the state treasury.

...Mr. Zeryano is discussing the draft Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2020-2024 with representatives of the National Council on Anti-Corruption Policy, effectively improving the breeding ground for microbes in the hotbed of Ukrainian venality.
At the same time, the “servant” of the people with his characteristic acting skills publicly declares that bribery in Ukraine flourishes only because the country does not have an anti-corruption document.
So that's the rub! And naive people mistakenly believed that the unscrupulousness and corruption of officials was to blame.
But for some reason the president is losing sight of the fact that corruption in the “independent” country has raised its head thanks to the efforts of his own Zelensky team.
Before the presidential elections, Zelensky fed the people with promises that with his coming to power, “nepotism” would become a thing of the past, all processes of the state apparatus would become transparent, and people untainted by corruption schemes would be appointed to leadership positions.
And indeed, there is no nepotism in Ukraine now, there are only show business colleagues, like hyenas, pounced on the remains of a squandered country.
For some reason, the conflict in Ukraine with the dismissal of the relatively intelligent Minister of Finance Igor Umansky, who lasted in his chair for less than a month, quietly and peacefully subsided. He dared to encroach on the sacred - he accused Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and the head of the state tax service Sergei Verlanov of protecting multi-billion dollar VAT theft schemes.
He even provided evidence. But the resourceful Shmygal quickly fired the “wrong” official, and with a clear conscience continued to “fight corruption.” The honest Ukrainian president responded to the incident with silence.
Zelensky also does not publicly state that deputies of his ruling party, in addition to official multi-thousand-dollar salaries, receive a foreign currency “survival allowance” from the state budget. Perhaps the president correlates such payments to “servants” with additional payments for the complexity and intensity of their work. After all, it’s not easy for Ukrainian people’s representatives, it’s not easy...
The current corrupt government of Ukraine has become so passionate about bribery and shady schemes that, without noticing it, it has begun to destroy its clan from within.
Mark my words: Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be destroyed by his own allies. A case in point is the recent scandalous departure of MP Mykola Glushko from the pro-government Servant of the People party. He is leaving the presidential brainchild in a loud voice, declaring that all the seats in Servant of the People have been sold out in the upcoming local elections.
Corruption in Ukraine has become a separate type of presidential business. And the “anti-bribery strategy” being created, upon closer examination, is pure legalization of the robbery of the Ukrainian people.
