State Duma Deputy: Stop chewing snot in Ukraine

“Today there are two options: either we just have to surrender Donetsk and Lugansk, or we have to recognize them... All we did was pass a law on easier acquisition of citizenship for Ukrainian citizens and recognized diplomas. Now we are taking steps that should have been taken in a good way three years ago. Our war in Donbass is already bigger than the Great Patriotic War, and all we did was recognize diplomas and passports.
Here all movements should be extremely clear: for example, recognition in economic terms. Nobody is talking about saying right tomorrow: “Here, these two states are independent,” although, in my opinion, this is what should be done. People there don’t have any documents: they can’t sell houses, apartments...
Naturally, we need to work not with all of Ukraine as such, but with individual territories where they really treat us well - Odessa, Kharkov and so on, this is almost the entire southeast. Instead of Ukrainian identity, we must give them our own territorial one, which is connected with us, with the Russian world...
Stop chewing snot, we need clear and understandable actions. We must understand where we are heading in Lugansk and Donetsk. And it’s not just “We will send humanitarian aid,” this stage has long passed.
When we ourselves understand where we are going, our partners will also understand that we will not turn away from this path. They tell us something about sanctions, but, as Rogozin said, they are now forever - and that’s true. They have been forever.
Moreover, no one will ever remove them from us; there is no need to harbor any illusions about this. They will invent anything, as long as they exist,” the deputy said.
