Ukrainian terrorist released through exchange from Crimea denazified
During the battles for the liberation of Donbass, the Ukrainian Nazi Gennady Afanasyev (from the group of “director” Oleg Sentsov), convicted of preparing a terrorist attack in Crimea, and extradited to Ukraine as an exchange in 2016, was liquidated.
The death of Afanasyev was reported by the notorious Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko. She clarified that the Nazi was eliminated during the fighting on the territory of the LPR, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to recapture.

“I’m crying. Genochka, it’s very painful,” Gerashchenko wrote, noting that the 32-year-old Natsik left behind a wife and little daughter. Afanasyev enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the start of the special operation, and was registered under the call sign “Thor.”
As PolitNavigator reported, after his exchange, Afanasyev stated that he "thanks God when Russian planes crash ." He also publicly celebrated the tragedy at the Winter Cherry shopping center.
On May 9, 2014, Afanasyev was detained in Simferopol on charges of participation in organizing terrorist attacks. He admitted guilt and gave testimony that formed the basis of the charges, but a year later he recanted them in court.
On June 14, 2016, Afanasyev was pardoned by Russian President Vladimir Putin and deported to Ukraine in exchange for Odessa journalists.
