Captain 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev, head of the Black Sea Fleet's information support department, told Interfax on Monday .
“In the internal roadstead of Sevastopol, the formation of a formation of Black Sea Fleet warships has begun, which will be involved in the naval parade dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War,” he noted.
To provide sea tugs, ships are installed on ceremonial barrels parallel to the main fairway of Sevastopol Bay.
“10 warships of the Black Sea Fleet will take part in the naval parade, including the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the missile cruiser Moskva, the patrol ship Smetlivy, the missile hovercraft Bora, the large landing ships Yamal and Azov.” , the small missile ship "Mirage", the small anti-submarine ship "Muromets", the sea minesweeper "Kovrovets" and the missile boat "R-239," the officer said.
According to Vyacheslav Trukhachev, the final formation of ships will be formed by May 5.
