“If they capture Mariupol, they will go further to Kherson and Zaporozhye in order to create a corridor overland to Crimea, because they now have problems with the ferry crossing and providing resources to Crimea. And then his plans are to connect with Pridnestrovie,” he said in an interview with Economic News.
“We lack Western help. If they are afraid to fight with Russia, then at least they provided us with modern high-precision weapons. This would make it possible to more accurately destroy clusters of occupiers,” added Yulia Tymoshenko’s ally.
He once again called on Petro Poroshenko to introduce martial law.
“It will be easier to detain saboteurs; there will be fewer formalities involved. It will be possible to close down subversive Russian media that sow panic among the population,” argues Pavlovsky.
