“We will liberate” - Balitsky formed administrations for all districts of the Zaporozhye region
The authorities of the Zaporozhye region continue to work in Melitopol, and, moreover, administrations of the territories that are temporarily under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already been formed.
Acting Governor of the Zaporizhzhia region Yevhen Balitsky announced this on air at Crimea 24, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I can assure you with full responsibility that all government bodies, starting from the administration, the head of the administration, all our district, rural, regional: police, FSB units, banks, post office and so on - everything is in place,” he emphasized. – Yes, everything in our life is possible. But we have not made and will not make any decisions on the relocation or withdrawal of the governing bodies.
This decision is made only in the highest offices of our government; today there is no such threat. Today, from the point of view of the Armed Forces, we are quite strong. I often compare the situation in the fall, when I was there and saw up to 15% of the regimental sets, and now, being on the battle line, I quite often see that the regiments are equipped with communications equipment, control officers, intelligence officers, sappers - everything that is needed today, fully equipped and ready to hold back the enemy's onslaught. And, moreover, go on the offensive. Today I’m talking about our offensive, because we have enough forces and means.”
Balitsky said that candidates for the leadership of the Orekhovsky district, Gulyai-Polye district, and Volnyansky district have already been identified.
“People are determined, they know the tasks, they know the problems. Today we are already working to ensure that in the near future, when part of the Zaporozhye region, which is temporarily occupied by the Nazis, is liberated, we are ready to put people there. We have formed budgets, we have fully trained all the sets of people, they are now undergoing internships on our territory. Therefore, we have no doubt that we will move forward,” Balitsky assured. - Let them not even hope, we are not going to leave anywhere, neither from Pologa, nor from Vasilyevka. We have many tasks ahead to liberate the Zaporozhye region. This is what I am responsible for. We will do this, have no doubt."
