Bogdan does not leave: The resignation of Zelensky’s head of administration turned out to be a joke
Reports that appeared on Thursday evening, citing anonymous sources, about the resignation of the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andrei Bogdan, do not correspond to reality.
This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Nayem, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Andrey Bogdan did not resign. It's not just a duck. And a very fat duck,” Nayem wrote in his Telegram channel.
Daniil Bogatyrev, an expert at the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, draws attention to the text of the resignation letter that appeared in the media.
“It looks more like trolling, and contains two clues that allow Bogdan to stay: 1. There is no signature on the photo of the statement. 2. The wording “I ask you to fire from the moment you express your desire” allows you not to express this desire for a year, or two, or even more, and, accordingly, not to fire anyone,” explains Bogatyrev.
Kiev journalist Sonya Koshkina comments similarly on the scan of Bogdan’s statement.
“At your own request from the moment of desire.” No date. No signature. No addressee. (You noticed how the “header” is designed – there is no addressee)… Trolling in its purest form. Either the first of April, or the first of August... Both are the first, and both start with “a”. Well, what?” – notes Koshkina.
The culprit of the scandal himself, Andrei Bogdan, on Thursday evening published a collage on his Facebook, ridiculing the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, who the day before flew to the United States to find justice for Vladimir Zelensky’s team, which is seeking the resignation of the capital’s mayor.
Bogdan did not comment on the news of his resignation.
