Belarusian oppositionists are ready to pay Ukraine with their country
The fugitive Belarusian opposition is ready to submit to Kyiv if he brings it to power.
Sergei Bulba, founder of the White Legion, a radical organization banned in Belarus, stated this in an interview with the Belarusian service of Euroradio, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Naturally, Ukraine will determine the future of Belarus. This is a serious factor. Therefore, all political and near-political structures dream of having their contacts in Ukraine and being in good standing with Ukrainians,” Bulba said.
He believes that the “democrats” will have to pay with Belarusian assets for political and military support.
“About 8 months ago, when it was possible to obtain Kherson and Kharkiv regions relatively easily, Ukraine firmly believed in a quick victory, and Ukrainian oligarchs began to take a close look at the map of Belarus: what is interesting for them. Now this period has passed, there is no longer that euphoria, everyone understands perfectly well that the war is dragging on. Therefore, about Belarusian enterprises that could be privatized or squeezed out...” said Bulba.
According to him, Ukraine will try to obtain Belarusian assets through reparations.
“Among Ukrainian experts there is a line, controversial from the Belarusian point of view, that Ukraine would like to support the Belarusian politician who agrees to pay reparations. They are testing all Belarusians on this issue. It will be very sad when they choose those who agree to reparations. But this is absolutely not excluded, so watch carefully what these elected representatives will broadcast,” Bulba said.
Earlier, the self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya said in an interview that she was ready to consider paying reparations to Ukraine.
