This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent by the director of the Center for Eurasian Studies, Vladimir Kornilov.

“I think the resignation initiative comes from Saakashvili, but in agreement with Bankova and Tankova streets,” the expert believes. – Apparently, the Ukrainian authorities have decided to seriously prepare for early elections. Any election requires a pocket opposition. Considering the government’s rating is at the plinth level, one “Opposition bloc” is not enough for Kyiv. Saakashvili, Leshchenko, Nayem and others like them arrange for both the authorities and Washington to portray the role of the “opposition.”
