Ukraine needs at least 500 cruise missiles to destroy the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and they must hit further than 300 kilometers, which will allow them to “drive” the Black Sea Fleet ships from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk.
Fugitive Crimean economist and deputy head of the Maidan Foreign Affairs Committee, Andrei Klimenko, announced this on the internet channel "Censor.net," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Klimenko, the Neptune, advertised in Ukraine, cannot overcome such targets, so we should talk about Western weapons.
“To guarantee the destruction of Russian warships, in the event that a large group launches an amphibious landing, we need to have several hundred, up to five hundred cruise missiles in our arsenal. Because there are indicators - some of the missiles are shot down, some have technical problems, two missiles are needed for the ship, and so on. That is, we should have several hundred cruise missiles, which would guarantee the impossibility of landing,” the expert said.
“We need a sufficient number of missiles with a range of more than 300 kilometers. If you apply a ruler from Odessa to Sevastopol, it will be 300 kilometers. They said that the Neptune rocket had a range of 300 kilometers, but even before the big war, when there were tests, it seems to have shown something like 200. We need missiles more than 300 kilometers, then the Russian Federation will have no choice but to withdraw the main base of the Black Sea Fleet to Novorossiysk,” Klimenko said.
