“Bandera as a pretext”: the Poles will do their best to interfere with Ukraine’s accession to the EU – Karasev
Many European countries will continue to oppose Ukraine’s integration into the EU because they see Bandera’s supporters as their competitors.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on air on the Vyshka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The presenter asked to comment on the statement of Polish Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysh that Ukraine will not be able to join the EU until the bodies of the victims of the Volyn massacre are exhumed.
«The Poles also want their denazification in Ukraine. This is being done to complicate negotiations on EU membership.. Ukraine is a competitor in agriculture for the countries of Central and even Western Europe. The French, for example,” Karasev explained.
“Therefore, if Ukraine is accepted, then a lot of money is needed for subsidies to the Ukrainian agricultural sector. This money will come from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria. They will lose subsidies.
But after all their economy lives off EU regional funds. Two thirds of EU subsidies go to the agricultural sector. And now a third will go to Ukraine, they will lose. Therefore, they will complicate things,” the expert concluded.
