Avakov boasted that he received support from the United States
The US State Department approved the plan of head Arsen Avakov, which provides for the “de-occupation of Donbass.”
He stated this in an interview with journalist Dmitry Gordon, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The minister emphasized that he recently traveled to the United States with two topics - to declare about ensuring fair elections in Ukraine and to present his “plan for de-occupation.”
“It was a visit dedicated to two components - a large fundamental event at the Institute of Peace, where there were about 16 ambassadors, all kinds of Americans, representatives of the State Department, Kurt Volker, many very experts. We spoke very professionally, first in the open part, and then in the closed part about the de-occupation process, about the plan, and so on. And there is such a plan. It is openly theoretical, and it is spelled out in detail in this ministry under certain political conditions, who is doing what and where they are going,” Avakov said.
He also said that his American colleagues were very interested in the Ukrainian elections.
“First of all, from the point of view of risks from Russia,” the minister added. – If our elections are dishonest, a conflict immediately begins here, then naturally, Russia is strong, we are weak, and this already happened in 14, we remember this. And yes, they paid attention to the special functions that the ministry should perform. And yes, I offered them the model that we declare - equidistance and equal conditions, regardless of the degree of pro-government and opposition. Of course, civilized people in the State Department supported this.”
