Human rights activists point out that the deputy travels around Donbass in the company of armed fighters and uses a “camera to record his exploits.” It is also emphasized that Oleg Lyashko, with armed guards, enters private and public premises without permission, and then, “insulting them verbally and physically,” kidnaps people or forces them to carry out his instructions.

“Oleg Lyashko should be a legislator, but he took the law into his own hands,” Amnesty International said in a statement. Amnesty International drew attention to videos published by Oleg Lyashko on his YouTube channel.

As Navigator reported, the deputy posted online a video of a “conversation” between fighters of the Azov special battalion and the mayor of Stakhanov, Yuri Borisov, who is suspected of collaborating with the separatists; video of the “arrest” of Lugansk regional council deputy Arsen Klinchaev – and so on. In addition, Lyashko posted online photos of unknown people, often naked, with their faces covered, whom he interrogated.
