The admiral demands that the officials who surrendered Crimea to Russia be put on trial: They are in Kyiv
Kyiv, January 20 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Ukraine should create a commission to investigate the reasons why the Naval Forces were blocked in Sevastopol during the “Crimean Spring”.
Former Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Igor Kabanenko stated this on the “Social Country” TV channel.

According to him, many experts recommended that the leadership of the military department remove ships from the bays of Sevastopol in order to avoid blocking.
“Many people recommended taking the ships out to sea, doing it as quickly as possible. Because the ship that is moored is more vulnerable. But this was not done, and these are matters of lessons that we must learn.
It is necessary to create a commission that will investigate this. All the roots of the problem are in Kyiv. The orders that were given at the first stage were aimed at staying in their places and not reacting to provocations. All these issues must be investigated,” Kabanenko said.
