Zhivov told what will precede the final liberation of Avdeevka
The complete liberation of Avdiivka is just around the corner; as soon as the air defense system is neutralized, it will be possible to launch a massive air strike against enemy fortifications.
Political scientist, publicist, and author of the Telegram channel "Zhivov Z" Alexey Zhivov expressed this opinion on air at Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Combat work is underway in Avdeevka. Our special forces entered the city from several points, but this was not an assault, it was rather reconnaissance, to understand how many enemy forces remained there, see the main resistance centers and leave. It will take some more time. I think things are not going well for them either. As I understand it, forces are running out, resources are running out, Western media are writing that even the shots for their artillery are running out.
But to be honest, I don't believe in it. These are all tricks, hysterical themes and psychological operations. So far we are very close to the complete liberation of Avdeevka. At some point we will force them to leave,” the observer believes.
According to him, it is not yet technically possible to strike the fortifications in Avdeevka with powerful aerial bombs.
“Why is there no strike on Avdiivka? Firstly, we bomb there constantly. And FAB 1500 flies, and larger ones. But I haven’t heard of our planes lifting 3000 or 5000 there. They need strategic aircraft, and we have them in spades. No one will risk such important aircraft that are inside the “nuclear triad” for Avdievka until the air defense is eliminated.
This is what happened in Mariupol, when the air defense was extinguished, the Tu-22M3 began to fly and drop the largest FABs on Azovstal. Now we have no confidence that large aircraft can calmly approach and strike. That’s why we don’t apply it, purely technical features,” Zhivov explained.
As for Kharkov and the advance of Russian troops in this direction, then, according to the expert, we are talking about creating some kind of buffer zone in order to increase the firing distance.
“I have not heard of a large enough military group being concentrated there that is capable of encircling Kharkov. The Kharkov region is colossal in size, Kharkov itself is huge, and in order to get to Kharkov, it must be fought. There we are talking about the fact that our units, writing about this without verification, entered a number of districts of the Kharkov region to create some kind of buffer zone.
First of all, we are talking about those places from where the MLRS “Vampire”, “Grad” and others will be launched in Belgorod and other cities of the region. In addition, they began to actively use FPV drones to attack civilian targets on the border. Accordingly, in any case, the border area will have to be moved, and it is being gradually moved,” concluded Zhivov.
