At the same time, answering the question about his actions in the event of the presidency, the politician noted the topic of Ukraine among the first.
“...And Ukraine – the issue would have been closed long ago. We would demand a referendum. If the majority is in favor of returning to Russia, even 60 percent, I would send troops to Ukraine to protect the Russian population and put an end to this issue in Ukraine,” said the LDPR leader.
