Ariel Cohen, director of the American Center for Energy, Natural Resources and Geopolitics, said this on the Sunday Evening talk show.

According to him, if the bloodshed in Donbass does not stop, then Western pressure on the Russian economy will only increase.

“These sanctions, if they do not stop, when there is continuation of bloodshed in Ukraine, then the ruble will fall not by 30%, but more. The world is flooded with oil and gas, prices are falling. This is bad for Russia,” says Ariel Cohen.

At the same time, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky threatened with a “nuclear club” in response to the economic blockade of Russia.

“The ruble will not fall anywhere. Our nuclear club will lift him up. It will raise you so high that you will feel bad. We will shoot down all your satellites, leaving you without the entire Internet system, without electricity,” the politician said.
