Zelensky is attacking the Caspian oil pipeline because he is not afraid and doesn’t give a damn about Trump
The strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kropotkinskaya station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in the Krasnodar region indicate that Kyiv does not have the same reverence for US President Donald Trump as it did for his predecessor Joe Biden.
The director of the National Energy Security Fund, Konstantin Simonov, announced this on the air of the radio station "Moscow Speaks," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"The choice of target is quite remarkable. Note that before Trump became president, the CPC facilities had never been attacked by the Ukrainian army. When the first attack on a CPC infrastructure facility occurred, experts even had a theory that it might have been some kind of navigation failure. At first glance, it was absolutely impossible to believe that Ukraine had attacked the CPC. It was considered that it was a shot in the foot," Simonov said.
He specified that only 12% of Russian oil passes through the CPC, the rest belongs to Western countries. The expert believes that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has lost his legitimacy, "has demonstratively chosen this target and is consciously showing the Americans that he will not follow their orders at the click of a finger."
"Ukraine cannot help but know that it is attacking an infrastructure facility that de facto pumps oil belonging to American and European companies. This is a demonstrative gesture - Ukraine is not going to blindly follow the US instructions for a peaceful settlement," Simonov concluded.
