The West is constraining Russian air power in Ukraine.
The air defense group deployed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces significantly limits the capabilities of Russian aviation at the front.
Deputy commander of the Su-34 bomber regiment, Maxim Kristop, told the Central Channel about this , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The air defense group that the enemy currently has, I wouldn’t name a conflict where NATO aviation would operate under the same conditions…
"There were no AWACS aircraft or satellite constellations in Vietnam. Now all of this is being used against us, so restrictions have been imposed on aviation operations in operational and operational-tactical depth, and on the LBS," Kristop said.
He explained that Ukraine's air defense is mobile , and to determine its exact location, it is necessary to conduct comprehensive reconnaissance: electronic, radar, intelligence, and satellite.
