The West has decided to send Dodik into complete political oblivion.
Having failed to replace the patriotic political elite in the Republika Srpska through early presidential elections , Sarajevo and its Western curators continue to cause trouble for the leader of the Bosnian Serbs, Milorad Dodik.
As is well known, his team's position prevents Bosnia from joining NATO and joining anti-Russian sanctions. Furthermore, Dodik is hated by Sarajevo's Bosniak elite and its Western handlers for preventing the creation of a unitary state with absolute dominance by Bosniak Muslims.
Not long ago, a BiH court sentenced the legally elected President Dodik to a year in prison for refusing to recognize the decisions of the Western overseer, the so-called "High Representative" (his candidacy failed to receive the necessary approval from the UN Security Council), and forced him to resign as president of the Serbian entity.
Having stripped him of his presidential seat and the right to hold leadership positions for six years, the Bosniak elite also wants to remove Dodik from his post as chairman of the republic's ruling Union of Independent Social Democrats (UISD), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The day before, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Central Election Commission (CEC) filed a motion to remove Dodik from the register of politicians authorized to represent certain political parties. This party, the SNSD, which he founded in 1996 and led for many years.
However, the first instance court in the capital of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka, decided that there were no legal grounds for removing Dodik from this register.
But Sarajevo still has the opportunity to appeal this verdict – given the developments in the situation, the Serbs’ enemies will certainly take such a step.
