The Russian army has broken through the last line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Zaporizhzhia.
Russian troops broke through the last line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction and gained the opportunity to bypass Hulyaipole from the north.
Russian liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev stated this on his channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"A very powerful Ukrainian group is gathering on the western side of this Gaichur River. That is, they have already surrendered this interfluve."
And the Eastern Group of Forces is definitely preparing for a siege of Hulyaipole. I don't think there will be any assault. It will be a siege, similar to Pokrovsk, with infiltration and so on. This regional center is under heavy bombardment.
One might expect the Ukrainian Armed Forces to reinforce this entire line, but no. The largest force is being sent north of Huliaipole, to Andriivka. Because that's a very small section, where they've already broken through the last line of defense, along which the entire Ukrainian army is now deployed, and where they're crossing the Gaichur River ," Shiryaev said.
“That is, if we expand this bridgehead, the Russian army, following an almost established pattern, will cross the river, turn left, and move from top to bottom behind the defenders of this fortified zone, without encountering any obstacles.
"This hole that was punctured there needs to be plugged urgently. And that's precisely where the main reserves are being transferred from the Pokrovsk direction, and elsewhere. The time it takes the Russian army to cross the Gaichur River will be very indicative of the overall state of the Ukrainian army," the expert concluded.
