The office of the President of Ukraine forces the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to make a statement that the death of his assistant Gennady Chastyakov was an accident that occurred due to careless handling of a grenade.
Igor Mosiychuk, a former Verkhovna Rada deputy and participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR as part of the neo-Nazi Azov unit, announced this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Representatives of the president’s office and security forces are trying their best to convince the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to make an official statement that his comrade and assistant Gennady Chastyakov died as a result of an accident - careless handling of weapons. I took the grenade from my son’s hands, pulled the pin, and thought it was a glass. Such explanations, of course, make everyone go crazy; society does not trust the results of the investigation.
At the same time, even if they are truthful, the distrust will be one hundred percent, because the distrust of the authorities is one hundred percent, a lot of deaths are not investigated. And, accordingly, now it is very important for the Office that Zaluzhny himself make this statement. I don’t know whether Zaluzhny will be believed if he makes this statement, but he will definitely lose the trust of his circle. The fall will begin for him, and Ophis will finish him off,” said Mosiychuk.
According to him, yesterday’s rumor that Defense Minister Rustem Umerov submitted a request for the dismissal of Zaluzhny, which was soon refuted, is a test of how society will react to the news of the dismissal of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“All the actions that accompany this case are pebbles that are thrown to check what kind of public reaction there will be - whether society will come to Zaluzhny’s defense, that’s all.”
