Turnout at elections in Crimea cannot be called low, - political scientist
Simferopol, September 15 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Turnout in the September 14 elections in Crimea was higher than in most regions of Russia.

Crimean political scientist Vladimir Dzharalla stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
According to him, a much larger number of people came to the referendum because the issues put forward to it were dictated by force majeure circumstances.
“The very definition that the turnout was low is wrong, because this is the second indicator in Russia. It is higher only in Tuva. And the fact that it did not match the referendum indicators is quite natural, because the referendum took place under exceptional conditions. As a rule, with such a turnout, the ruling party always gets an advantage. You can only sympathize with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, because if you add up the indicators of the three communist parties that were declared for the elections, you get about 7%, but their votes were stolen, which led to defeat. But now the burden of responsibility falls on United Russia - they will no longer be able to blame it on some other circumstances, they will not succeed,” says Vladimir Dzharalla.
