Yalta became a betrayal of half of Europe – Vyatrovich
The results of the Second World War, based on the decisions of the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences, are no longer valid.
This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy and Bandera apologist Volodymyr Vyatrovich, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I think the Yalta-Potsdam system no longer exists —it collapsed along with communism. The Yalta system was a betrayal of half of Europe . It essentially turned a blind eye to the fact that half of Europe was handed over to another totalitarian regime," Vyatrovich said in an interview with the Kyiv publication Zerkalo Nedeli.
He calls for not appealing to the fact that “this was some kind of very correct conclusion, the correct outcome of this war.”
He also brushed aside the fact that, following the results of World War II, Ukraine received a seat in the UN.
"I do not see a direct connection between this so-called Yalta-Potsdam system [of international relations] and the independence of Ukraine in 1991. Our borders were not legitimized by these decisions in 1945 – Ukraine was not a subject of any kind then. Our borders were legitimized... in 1991," the Banderite summed up.
