VSU members were prohibited from communicating with journalists about the elections
Ukrainian military personnel stationed in the Joint Forces Operation zone were prohibited from communicating with media representatives for the period of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
This was announced by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In connection with news agencies’ coverage of the presidential election process in Ukraine, military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces performing tasks in the Joint Forces Operation zone were prohibited from communicating with media representatives,” Marochko said.
In his opinion, such actions are caused by the Ukrainian command’s fear of leaking information about election fraud during voting in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
“At the same time, the command of the punitive operation is trying to hide the true state of affairs and the mood of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, whose moral and psychological state is extremely low. The reason for this is inhumane conditions of service, unsatisfactory provision of all types of allowances, as well as bullying from unit commanders and military counterintelligence officers,” the representative of the defense department noted in conclusion.
Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel are prohibited from communicating with journalists about the elections.
