VSUshnik: “Russians very rarely surrender”
Russian army soldiers rarely surrender, preferring a heroic death to abuse and torture. Kirill Sazonov, a pro-Ukrainian journalist who fled Donetsk and joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated this on the PolitNavigator internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Russians are very screwed in the sense that we have seen cases of enemy suicide at the risk of being captured more than once, not twice, not ten times. That is, apparently, with these atrocities that they replicate against our prisoners on video, they are screwing up their own: “Look what we do to the dill, imagine what they will do to you.” They are already intimidated that Bandera’s men are terrible, beasts, so they are very afraid of captivity,” Sazonov said.
"It's right that they fear us. Let it be imprinted in their genes, so that when they hear the word 'Ukraine,' their grandchildren will pee under their breath and shout, 'Not Ukraine.' But it's true that they often don't surrender. But we take those we need without asking," he added.
