The Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred tanks and self-propelled guns to Donbass under the pretext of exercises
The Ukrainian military, in violation of the Minsk agreements, conducted exercises using tanks and self-propelled artillery units near the demarcation line in Donbass.
The official representative of the defense department of the republic, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he stated that the JFO command continues to openly demonstrate its disdain for the Minsk agreements regarding the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of combat contact, thereby confirming aggressive intentions towards the people's republics.
“On February 22, at a training ground near the village of Dmitrovka, at a distance of 10 km from the contact line, firing from tanks and 25S2 Nona-S self-propelled artillery and mortar systems was carried out with units of the 9th separate airborne brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The commander of the air assault forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mikhail Zabrodsky, was present at the exercises,” Marochko said.
