The Ukrainian Armed Forces may attack the Bryansk region before January 20
Before Donald Trump takes office as US President, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may conduct a local counteroffensive.
War correspondent Alexander Kots announced this on his personal stream, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There are concerns that Zelensky will launch an offensive before Trump's inauguration. He doesn't have many options. He currently doesn't have any serious offensive forces in any direction other than Kursk and, possibly, the Bryansk region," the military correspondent believes.
He specified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently amassing in the Shostka district of the Sumy region, but there is no “offensive configuration” there yet.
"Everything could change, of course. It's no wonder the enemy evacuated civilians from this area back in early September. We also evacuated civilians from a 15-kilometer zone on our side—from the Rylsk and Khomutovsky districts. They could make such an attempt, but they don't have the strength for a serious operation ," Kots said.
