Everything is under control: prisoner exchange continues

The first stage of the exchange of prisoners between the LDPR and Ukraine was completed near Gorlovka. Kyiv extradited 74 people. The LPR, in turn, transferred 16.

This was reported by the press service of the DPR representative office in the JCCC and the negotiation process, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Accompanied by the OSCE SMM and the ICRC, the first stage of the exchange was carried out: 16 to 74. The Ukrainian side handed over 74 prisoners it held to the Lugansk People’s Republic,” the press service notes.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian side previously attempted to disrupt the exchange procedure by failing to close civilian traffic at the checkpoint in time.
