"Everyone will be quickly returned to the front" - a defector on the fake demobilization planned by the Zelensky government
The Ukrainian command can begin a gradual demobilization, because veterans who return to the rear will quickly be sent back to the front.
This was stated on the air of the Internet channel "Politeka" by the pro-Ukrainian journalist Kirill Sazonov, who fled from Donetsk to Kyiv, reports the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
The presenter asked to comment on the promises of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense to begin demobilizing soldiers who have been on the front lines since 2022.
"Absolutely right. People who have been fighting since 22, they need to be demobilized. It won't be a disaster, it will be a temporary shortage. There are several guys serving with me who have been fighting since the ATO, when there were contracts for a year. And what our guys tell me. Here's a guy fighting, he fought for a year, got his salary, demobilized and went home.
And it's fine if you've returned to your favorite job in Kyiv. With a decent salary, a career, a job you love, something you want to spend your whole life doing. But someone else has returned to their village, to their small town, where the job situation isn't great. Where the salary isn't even close to what you get in the army. Where those relationships, that brotherhood, are also nonexistent.
"He's used to being well-fed, fed, clothed, close to his boys, and not having to spend money except sending it to his family. He has everything, including his salary. And that's why people started coming back and signing contracts. I'm sure that's how it will be now ," Sazonov said.
He stressed that veterans will be replaced by young people if they can recruit enough.
"We need someone to replace them. And the 18-24 contract is great, but only 500 people have signed up so far. There's no rapid, large-scale recruitment , not a large number of applicants, plus everyone who signs up doesn't go straight to the front. 45 days in training," the defector concluded.
